On behalf of our client we are seeing an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support their Back Office team in a dynamic, project-driven role. Key responsibilities: Deliver impactful IT solutions by gathering business requirements, managing deployments, and supporting daily operations. Support and enhance web-based applications , ensuring high availability and business alignment. Analyze business processes , translate needs into technical requirements, and help design solutions that make a difference. Investigate and resolve data or calculation discrepancies in financial reports by querying and analyzing source data using SQL. Develop and execute test plans , document procedures, and assist in troubleshooting issues. Drive data insights using tools like SQL, Tableau, and Power BI—supporting everything from operational reports to ad hoc business requests. Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to manage small-to-medium projects and improve systems functionality. Required experience: 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, ideally in software/web development environments. Strong understanding of web application lifecycles , from requirements to deployment and support. Proven skills in SQL, with hands-on experience querying and validating data. Familiarity with database IDEs such as DataGrip or Toad Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, or SSRS. Experience managing and contributing to projects using Agile methodologies . Clear, confident communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships with technical and non-technical users alike. A proactive, inquisitive mindset, with a track record of taking ownership and delivering results. Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills Exposure to Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages. Familiarity with vendor-based systems and cloud-hosted solutions Past co-op or office experience in a technical or analytical role.
