Senior System Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Network / System Engineer V for a 12 Months contract position with a client located in Charlotte, NC 28202 . Ideally looking for applicants with a strong working knowledge using Tanium modules and creating and installing software images on ATM machines in a lab environment comes as a plus.

Job Title : Network / System Engineer V

Location : Onsite role in Charlotte NC 28202 (Hybrid)

Duration : 12 Months

Pay Range: $65/hr - $68/hr on W2 (without benefits), the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

NOTE: Local candidates - no relocations. Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week. Monday thru Friday 8AM - 5PM

Day 1 will be onsite.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Engineer, implement and support software and OS solutions for Bank of America ATMs. Engineer integrations with Tanium modules including Interact, Patch, Enforce, Deploy and Performance. Integrate applications, utilities, drivers and device control components from our vendor partners. Create and install software images on ATM machines in a lab environment.

PRIMARY SKILL:

Tanium

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with core Tanium modules: Interact, Patch, Enforce, Deploy, Performance
• Minimum 5 years development experience with one or more of C++/C#/Powershell
• Windows 10 configuration experience with ACLs, AD Policy (LPO/GPO) and account configuration
• Windows 10 imaging, deployment and installation (MDT - Microsoft Deployment Toolkit)
• Visual Studio
• Solid networking skills TCP/IP, TLS.

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or Related field
• ATM industry experience
• ATM applications and XFS a plus
• Hardware integration experience (drivers, configuration)
• Experience interfacing with physical devices via vendor SDK's, APIs.
• Experience with self-service terminals (ATMS/Kiosks)
• Exam 70-698/Course 20698: Installing and Configuring Windows 10
• Exam 70-697/Course 20697-1 or 20697-2 Configuring Windows Devices
• OS/Software imaging/packaging experience
• Web Development Expertise (e.g. REST).
