Management Consultant – Banking Transformation Location : UK Wide (Hybrid Working) Job-Type : Permanent Salary : Up to £57,000 We’re working with a globally recognised consultancy, seeking ambitious and polished Management Consultants to join their high-performing Banking team. This opportunity is ideal for consultants with 2–4 years of experience looking to take the next step in delivering strategic and technology-enabled transformation in the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities • Deliver major business and technology transformation programmes across the banking sector • Own key workstreams and collaborate closely with project leads, client stakeholders, and technical teams • Define delivery roadmaps, governance models, and performance frameworks • Provide insight-driven recommendations based on deep industry and functional understanding • Guide and coach junior team members within engagements • Support the development of internal methodologies, capabilities, and market offerings Key Skills & Expertise • 2–4 years of management consulting experience—ideally within a Big 4, Capco, IBM, or similar consultancy • Strong understanding of Commercial and/or Retail Banking (e.g. core banking, payments, mortgages, regulatory frameworks) • Strong academic background and polished client-facing communication skills • Demonstrated experience delivering strategy or transformation engagements • Familiarity with emerging tech (Cloud, AI, APIs, Blockchain, etc.) and enterprise impacts • Excellent structured problem-solving and presentation skills • Willingness to travel as needed across the UK & Ireland Desirable Skills • Experience with post-merger integration or digital transformation programmes • Exposure to FinTech providers or challenger bank partnerships • Ability to manage client relationships and support business development efforts • Strong mentoring ability and passion for team leadership • Commercial awareness and involvement in shaping consulting propositions The Package • £46,400 – £57,000 base salary (depending on experience) • Annual bonus of 5–9% • 30 days annual leave plus 3 charity days • Private medical cover and comprehensive benefits • Career coaching, structured learning pathways, and internal mobility • Inclusive, innovation-focused culture with global networking opportunities If this sounds like you, apply below or reach out to Declan Bryson at Anson McCade on 07529 161950 quoting the reference: Management Consultant – Banking AMC/DB/MCB/LDN Management Consultant – Banking
