Solution Design Architect Work Type & Location : Remote UK Based Role Type : Contract, £600-750PD Inside Start Date : Immediate Anson McCade are a leading recruitment and transformation consultancy, working in partnership with a global client delivering major technology transformation programmes across infrastructure, applications, payments, and enterprise IT services. We are currently seeking a Solution Designer to join a dynamic, high-performing team focused on delivering innovative, secure, and scalable IT solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape systems architecture and influence end-to-end technical delivery in a fast-paced, enterprise-grade environment. As a Solution Designer, you will: Define systems architecture for complex projects, developing architecture roadmaps across multiple interrelated platforms. Translate business requirements into clear, practical technical specifications that align with enterprise technology strategies. Lead and guide delivery teams throughout the full project lifecycle, providing high-level architecture oversight. Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to ensure solutions meet both business needs and technical standards. Ensure designs support scalability, integration, performance, and security objectives. Maintain deep domain knowledge in IT systems, infrastructure, and integration methodologies. A successful Solution Designer will have: Proven experience designing IT solutions that meet complex business and technical requirements. Strong understanding of systems integration, enterprise security principles, and scalable architecture. Experience delivering successful technology projects across the SDLC. Proficiency in design tools and methodologies, along with excellent documentation skills. Exceptional communication and technical leadership capabilities. Domain expertise in payments , with solid background in payment systems integration. Desired Experience Includes: Leadership across large or strategic technology projects. Hands-on experience with scheme payments (e.g. Mastercard, Visa).
