They’re now looking for a Founding Machine Learning Engineer to join the core technical team and lead the development of their ML systems from the ground up. The Role: As a founding ML engineer, you’ll be deeply involved in shaping the entire ML pipeline - from research and prototyping to model deployment and optimisation. You’ll work closely with product and engineering to integrate intelligent features into a user-facing product from day one. You’ll need to be both a scientist and an engineer: excited by innovation, and pragmatic about delivering impact! ️ Key Technologies: Python and modern ML libraries (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) AWS and cloud infrastructure for scalable training and inference ML ops tooling, model monitoring, and data pipelines Bonus: experience with LLMs & generative AI is a strong plus What They’re Looking For: Top-tier academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or a related field – Oxbridge, Imperial, or equivalent 4 years of hands-on ML experience , ideally in fast-moving start-up environments A strong track record of building and deploying ML models into production Solid understanding of ML system design, experimentation, and model evaluation Experience working with ambiguous product requirements and iterating fast Passion for pushing boundaries in AI - and for building real products, not just prototypes Happy working 5 days/week on-site in a Central London office, shoulder to shoulder with the founding team What’s on Offer: Exceptional salary Meaningful equity - founding engineer-level stake Ownership of the ML roadmap and long-term technical vision The chance to help build a product and company from day one A deeply collaborative, high-performance environment with elite peers If you're an experienced ML engineer looking for your next big challenge, and want to build something important with world-class people - this could be the opportunity of a lifetime!
