Business Analyst

A leading specialty insurance group is looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to join their growing Change & Transformation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact strategic initiatives, delivering real change across operations, technology, and underwriting functions. The Role: As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and delivering change. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business and IT to translate needs into clear, actionable requirements – helping to drive improvements in process, technology, and service delivery. What You'll Do: Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business and functional requirements Document current and target state processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities Translate business needs into clear user stories or business requirements documents Support delivery teams through development, testing, and go-live Build strong relationships across business units, IT, and external vendors Assist with business case development, change impact assessments, and UAT What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Business Analyst within specialty or London Market insurance, Comfortable working across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Detail-oriented with experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and data/documentation management Collaborative, inquisitive, and proactive mindset Tools: Jira, Confluence, Visio or Lucidchart a plus If you are interested in this role, or other Business Analyst jobs in insurance, please apply or contact Sofia Chaves (sofia.chaves@arthur.co.uk)
