An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-oriented Underwriting Operations & Governance Manager to join a dynamic and growing insurance organisation. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Head of Business Operations and ensuring the smooth running of key functions including underwriting operations, third-party oversight, data governance, and regulatory reporting. Key Responsibilities: Ensure strong underwriting governance by managing data quality controls and resolving data exceptions. Serve as a primary liaison for external audits, coordinating data delivery and addressing audit-related queries. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely business working group packs across IT, outsourcing, and operations. Maintain and update all operational policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements. Contribute to the preparation and delivery of operational regulatory reports, supporting compliance and data integrity. Oversee the full lifecycle of outsourcing and third-party contracts, including due diligence for established agreements. We’re seeking detail-oriented individuals with a proactive, problem-solving approach and a strong track record of building and maintaining effective relationships across both internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documents, reports, and board or committee papers.
