We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in ETL development using Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that support our analytics and operational platforms. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Java and GCP-native services (e.g., Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage). Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes for performance and reliability. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all stages of the pipeline. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Monitor and troubleshoot production data workflows and resolve issues proactively. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience in backend or data engineering roles. Strong proficiency in Java for data processing and ETL development. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform , especially Dataflow , BigQuery , Pub/Sub , and Cloud Functions . Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git). Nice to Have Experience with Apache Beam or other stream/batch processing frameworks. Knowledge of Python or Scala for data engineering tasks. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
