Role outline: Senior Enterprise & Technology Risk Manager Salary DOE: £90,000-£100,000 plus 10% bonus, 20% LTIPs and generous benefits. City of London, 3 days a week in the office Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise & Technology Risk Manager to play a key role in the evolution and execution of their Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, with a particular focus on Technology Risk . This role is essential in helping the business proactively identify, assess, and manage technology-related risks — including Information Security, Cybersecurity, AI risk, Data Privacy , and other emerging tech domains. You will work directly the the VP of Enterprise Risk management alongside cross-functional teams, including engineering, information security, data governance, and operations, to ensure that risk is appropriately understood and managed in the context of strategic and day-to-day decision-making. The team are looking for a candidate who can own Technology Risk across the business, helping the VP build a robust environment alongside future opportunities to take charge and lead the expanding Technology risk function over time! The position offers a unique opportunity to influence how risk is embedded across a rapidly evolving technology landscape, and to shape the organisation’s ability to manage new and emerging digital threats while enabling innovation. Key responsibilities: Lead the design and deployment of enterprise risk management processes across the business. Drive the maturity and integration of the ERM framework, particularly within Technology, Information Security, and Operations. Conduct independent risk identification, assessment, and evaluation with stakeholders across various departments. Work with Risk Owners to define and monitor risk appetite, including the use of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Challenge and support Risk Owners in the prioritisation and implementation of risk mitigation strategies. Provide education and training to promote risk awareness and embed a proactive risk culture. Participate in relevant risk governance forums (e.g., Technology and InfoSec risk councils), supporting balanced risk-reward considerations. Use data analytics to identify risk trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Manage and deliver risk-related projects that respond to evolving business needs. Support the roll-out and adoption of a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool across the organisation. Your Profile Minimum 8 years’ experience in Enterprise Risk Management within a corporate or consulting environment. Strong understanding of ERM frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Proficient in analysing data to derive risk insights; comfortable using data to support decision-making. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and support senior stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities with a structured and analytical approach. Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple work streams simultaneously. Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed. Familiarity with technology services and associated risk considerations is beneficial. Holds a relevant professional qualification in risk management (e.g., CRMA, MIRM, C-Risk). Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
