Avanti Recruitment is partnering with a scaling tech business in Manchester to hire a Support Technician for their hybrid support team. (1 day a week in the office | £28.2k pro rata | 10am–5pm hours | 44 days off per year) We’re helping a fast-moving software company find a confident, diligent new teammate to join their friendly support team. You’ll be supporting eCommerce businesses and warehouse staff who rely on their bespoke platform to keep day-to-day operations flowing. This is a people-first, logic-driven role. You’ll need great communication skills, a calm approach under pressure, and a knack for structured problem-solving, technical training is provided. What You’ll Be Doing: * Be the first line of support for client queries via phone and email * Troubleshoot software issues and adjust business logic rules (training given) * Jump onto client machines to investigate setup and configuration issues * Log and track issues using a ticketing system, escalating complex ones * Collaborate closely with the wider support and engineering team What They’re Looking For: * Clear, professional phone manner and strong written communication * Logical thinker who enjoys solving problems step-by-step * Calm and capable under pressure — especially when clients are stressed * Comfortable learning new tools and picking up technical concepts * Experience in a client-facing support role or technical environment is a bonus, not a must What You’ll Get: * £28,000 per annum * 25 days holiday bank holidays (use whenever) birthday off full Christmas shutdown) * Remote-first – just 1 office day per week in central Manchester * 10am–5pm working hours, with a full lunch break * Free lunch on office days, snacks, stocked drinks fridge * BUPA health and dental care, free access to therapy * Annual parties, cycle-to-work scheme
