Senior Software Developer

Job Title: Senior Software Developer Location: Cantù (CO) Senior SW Developer participates in the entire lifecycle of complex, cross-functional projects inherent in the development of SW and applications for BLM GROUP products, contributing to the management of a project team and working closely with the mechanical, electrical, and industrialization design areas. Responsibilities Contribute to the correct management of the SW development projects in which he is involved and of his work team; Collaborate actively with colleagues in the company areas (technical and commercial) who participate in the projects, with the common aim of meeting customer expectations and needs; Identify and propose effective SW solutions, in line with the objectives and innovation strategies discussed and shared with one's Manager; Monitor the quality of products and SW applications, and related services, with a view to continuous improvement. Activities Definition and transfer of project specifications, agreeing them with internal and external customers, in compliance with the envisaged constraints (budget, KPI, deadlines); Processing and updating of complete project plans, to be shared with customers, team members, and with the company areas involved; Project management in terms of prioritizing and assigning tasks to your team, based on the strengths, skills, and experience possessed by team members; Monitoring and measuring of project KPIs, shared with the Manager, using tools and techniques adopted at company level, and where possible proposing new ones; Creation and updating of project documentation, as an integral and relevant part of project management; Supervision of the objectives and the quality of the results, in relation to the projects in which it is involved; Constant and proactive updating of the Manager in the event of significant deviations in the progress of the projects and in the results of the area objectives; Taking charge of entrusted collaborators, in terms of distribution of work, verification of the level of autonomy and satisfaction, analysis of training needs. Must have Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Automation Engineering; Many years of object-oriented programming experience in C/C++ and C# languages, preferably in a technical, scientific, or industrial field; Experience in the design of multilingual graphical user interfaces in WPF/HTML5 environment; Knowledge of Visual Studio 2022 / Visual Studio Code; Knowledge of Angular; Ability to organize and manage work with good autonomy; Expertise in the management of research and development projects; Good communication skills and openness to interpersonal comparison to facilitate the transfer of information; Fluency in English (level B2/C1). Nice to have Many years of experience (3-5 years) in conducting research and development projects; Knowledge of the basic concepts of DevOps; Knowledge of GIT; Knowledge of machine tool control systems; Knowledge of UI/UX logics for industrial machines.
