Mission System Senior Manager at BOEING summary: The Mission System Senior Manager at Boeing leads a multidisciplinary team in the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced electronic warfare mission systems software and hardware across multiple platforms. This role involves strategic program planning, customer and stakeholder engagement, oversight of supplier development, and team performance management. Boeing Phantom Works Fixed Wing Vehicle Prototype and Test organization is looking for a Mission System Senior Manager to lead our mission systems efforts to help push the state of the art in electronic warfare located in Berkeley, MO. This position will be responsible managing a multi-disciplined team in the design, development, integration and test of advanced Mission Systems (MS) software and hardware for multiple platforms. Phantom Works is a fast-paced environment where communication and organization are crucial. The successful candidate must be able to communicate with multiple teams at multiple sites as well as be the face of the project to the customer for all Mission System related tasks. Position Responsibilities: Work with program management to develop strategic program plans and influence customer decision-making. Customer and stakeholder interface for MS system requirements. Provide guidance and approval for software and hardware architectures. Oversee and coordinate supplier development of MS software and hardware. Assist in development of program-level policies and procedures. Provide proposal and estimating inputs. Develop project plans, schedules, and work packages. Performance management and skill development for team members. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO. This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications: Bachelor, Master or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering 20 years of experience in mission systems, avionics and/or electronic warfare systems development and integration 5 years of experience with project or team leadership 5 years of experience managing individual contributors including performance management, mentorship and skill development Experience with Earned Value Management Preferred Qualifications: Supplier management experience Proposal development experience Software development experience Risk management experience Relocation Assistance: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
