Kafka Consultant

We are looking for a Kafka Consultant with strong expertise in Apache Kafka and a proven track record of integrating Kafka within .NET-based enterprise applications . This role will involve architecting, implementing, and supporting Kafka-based messaging solutions for real-time data processing on the .NET stack. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Kafka-based messaging solutions for .NET applications. Develop Kafka producers and consumers using C#/.NET . Integrate Apache Kafka with microservices and distributed systems built on the .NET platform. Configure and maintain Kafka clusters , topics, partitions, replication, and retention settings. Implement Kafka Connect and develop custom connectors as needed for .NET ecosystems. Optimize system performance, manage scaling, and handle error recovery for streaming pipelines. Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to support deployment on Kubernetes/Docker . Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to Kafka and streaming services. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3 years of experience working with Apache Kafka , including Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect. Strong proficiency in .NET Core / .NET Framework and C# . Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging patterns . Hands-on experience with Kafka client libraries for .NET , such as Confluent.Kafka . Experience integrating Kafka into microservices and APIs built on ASP.NET Core. Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK , or Confluent Control Center .
