Responsibilities - Lead and manage project delivery teams, ensuring alignment with GDS standards and methodologies. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. - Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders. - Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. - Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practises and lessons learned. - Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively to optimise project outcomes. - Foster a positive team environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or in a similar role within software development. - Strong understanding of GDS principles and how to apply them in project delivery. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. - Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., Agile, Scrum) are a plus. - A background in software development is essential to effectively understand and manage technical aspects of projects
