Information Technology Field Engineer

Field based EUD Engineer – Public Sector Oxfordshire 6-Month Contract £250/day (Inside IR35) A large and well-established public sector organisation is seeking a proactive and customer-focused End User Device (EUD) Engineer to join their ICT team on an initial 6-month contract. As an EUD Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless support for end users, maintaining high-quality service standards, and helping to reduce service disruptions across the organisation. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical background in end user device support and a keen attention to service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Deliver excellent customer support and respond effectively to incidents, service requests, and problems. Troubleshoot Windows 10 devices, smartphones, laptops, and desktops. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to maintain service quality. Contribute to asset management and governance processes. Support IT moves, events, and projects across multiple locations. Identify trends, suggest improvements, and help update knowledge base content. Requirements: Proven experience in ICT operational delivery. Strong support experience with Windows 10 and a range of end user devices. Excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset. Full UK driving licence (travel across sites may be required). ITIL certification and experience using ServiceNow (desirable).
