Key Responsibilities Work within a cloud-based business management system that supports the automotive sector. Maintain and improve an established stock control, CRM, and order processing system used by hundreds of clients across the UK. Collaborate closely with the existing development team Assist with the modernisation of legacy code, ensuring stability while preparing the system for future enhancements. Contribute to long-term strategic improvements, including the potential AI integration. Technical Requirements Strong proficiency in PHP and JavaScript, with no reliance on frameworks such as Laravel—this role requires expertise in raw PHP and vanilla JS. Experience working with MySQL for database management. Familiarity with procedural PHP, though some object-oriented programming (OOP) experience is advantageous. Understanding of stock control and accounting systems, including discount calculations applied via JavaScript on the frontend. Prior experience developing API integrations, with knowledge of external system connections and data flow between platforms.
