Senior NodeJS & TypeScript Developer (Open Banking) Role Overview Position Type : Contract (Outside IR35) Location : Fully Remote, UK-Based Rate : Up to £625 per day Key Technical Requirements Core Technical Skills Expert-level TypeScript and NodeJS development Deep understanding of backend development Proven experience with: NTLS (Network Time Security) JWT (JSON Web Tokens) JWE (JSON Web Encryption) OAuth protocols Strong security protocol implementation experience Technical Depth Expectations Not just using security tools, but demonstrable experience in: Designing and implementing security architectures Building authentication and authorisation mechanisms Understanding cryptographic implementations Additional Technical Preferences React knowledge (beneficial but not primary) Experience in retail banking or fintech sectors preferred Background in startup or high-growth technology environments Leadership and Communication Skills Strong team lead capabilities Ability to: Translate complex technical challenges into business outcomes Prioritise pragmatic solutions over perfect technical implementations Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams Balance technical excellence with business urgency
