Job details

Well-established tech company in Glasgow is looking for a Senior Software Developer (.Net, Azure and VueJS ) to join their growing Agile team. You'll be working directly on a greenfield project using a modern tech stack, within a forward-thinking organisation that offer very flexible working. The role is part of a wider growth phase for the business, with a number of hires planned in the coming months. You’ll be coming into an Agile squad as the sixth Developer, and you’ll play a key role in shaping how this product evolves . The company has a strong track record of building successful products used globally, and their latest platform— now at MVP stage —has already attracted significant interest from their customer base. It’s a pure SaaS model, designed to be scalable and repeatable, and packed with potential. You’ll help build new features, refine existing ones, and influence the product’s technical direction as it matures. Their current stack includes .NET, SQL, Microservices, Azure and VueJS, so you’ll ideally feel comfortable with most of these technologies. However, they’re open-minded on technology, what they’re really looking for is someone who’s comfortable working across the stack, brings strong engineering fundamentals, and has a collaborative working style. As a Senior Developer, you’ll be expected to help coach and mentor less experienced team members, you’ll be seen as a technical escalation point, and will be involved in some system design meetings. Ideally, you’ll bring: Strong commercial experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem Good JavaScript experience with a modern framework (Vue, React or Angular) Experience building or contributing to cloud-based products (ideally in Azure, but AWS or GCP is fine too) A good understanding of clean code, testing, and scalable systems Bonus points for: Working in a SaaS product environment Microservices DevOps / CI/CD exposure The team work in a flexible hybrid way — with most people working remotely and coming into their central Glasgow office for ad hoc meetings or team sessions. It’s walkable from the city centre, well-connected, and has parking available too. Salary-wise , they’re looking in the region of £55k to £70k , depending on experience and skill level, with a good benefits package to match. It’s a great opportunity to work on a high-potential product , within a culture that values ownership, openness and technical quality. If this sounds like your kind of thing, feel free to apply or get in touch with Douglas Paget at Cathcart Technology for more info.
