Do you want to shape application strategy, modernise legacy platforms, and bring real business innovation to life? This is more than just an architecture role. The Role As an Azure Application Architect, you’ll be the bridge between engineering teams and business outcomes. Working with clients across regulated industries and fast-growth markets, you’ll own: Azure Application Modernisation – redesigning legacy systems for scalability, performance and maintainability Cloud-Native Architecture – microservices, containers, serverless, event-driven systems Engineering Leadership – guiding software teams through modern DevOps, IaC, CI/CD and observability adoption Stakeholder Influence – working closely with product, delivery, and customer teams to turn ideas into platforms Innovation – shaping reference architectures and pushing the envelope on what Azure can enable ✅ What You Bring A background in hands-on software engineering (C#, .NET, or similar) Deep experience in Azure PaaS services (App Services, Functions, Kubernetes, Logic Apps, etc.) Practical knowledge of modern application architecture patterns Strong appreciation for DevOps practices, IaC (e.g. Bicep, Terraform), and automation The ability to lead and influence both internally and with enterprise clients Passion for engineering excellence, community, and continuous improvement The Package Base Salary: £100,000 Benefits: Extensive Insurance Private healthcare, Pension, Flexibility: Remote-first with travel to client sites as needed
