Senior React Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior React Developer to join a high-performing data and digital engineering team on a strategic project for a leading UK bank. This role is delivered via a top-tier consultancy and involves the development of enterprise-grade web applications within a cloud-first architecture. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain scalable web applications using React.js within a full-stack environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders. Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces. Integrate with RESTful APIs and cloud-based services. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies. Key Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript . Advanced knowledge of React.js and familiarity with modern React patterns (hooks, context, etc.). Solid understanding of HTML5 , CSS3 , and responsive web design. Experience working with .NET , C# , or similar backend frameworks (beneficial for full-stack capability). Knowledge of cloud services, preferably Azure . Familiarity with SQL Server , Azure SQL , or CosmosDB . Experience using Git , Azure DevOps , or GitHub for version control and CI/CD. Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience. Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in financial services or highly regulated environments. Experience working within large-scale digital transformation projects. This role is working inside IR35 via umbrella company, and will require 1-2 days work onsite per week.
