Automation Engineer

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks, executing test cases, and ensuring the quality of software products across various platforms experience. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to drive continuous integration and delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, and other tools. Perform API testing using POSTMAN and SOAPUI. Develop and execute test plans for functional, regression, smoke, accessibility, performance, and exploratory testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high-quality deliverables. Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Utilize TestNG, Java, Python, and JavaScript for test automation and scripting. Manage test cases and defects using Jira and Confluence. Work with MySQL, Oracle, SQL, and MS Access databases for data validation and test setup. Apply TDD and BDD methodologies to enhance test coverage and reliability. Integrate testing with cloud and DevOps tools like GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform. Use tools like IntelliJ, BrowserStack, LambdaTest, Apache POI, and ANT for development and testing support. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in automation testing with Cypress and Selenium WebDriver. Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript. Solid understanding of API testing, CI/CD, and test management tools. Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, TDD, and BDD. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB or equivalent certification. Experience with performance testing tools. Exposure to accessibility testing standards.
