Cisco Engineer - Network and Security

Perm FT role Standard hours/ but must be able to work overtime occasionally in critical project stages Location: Toronto (some travel whin GTA required for visiting clients sites when needed) The ideal candidate will be an Expert in Routing, Switching, wireless and Data Centre (Cisco); and skilled in Cisco Nexus switching, Catalyst switching . This is s a customer-facing roles - strong organizational, presentation technical skills and interpersonal skills needed. You will work closely with local Sales and Delivery teams to plan, design and implement various industry-recognized network and security solutions for clients. Other Technical expertise Required: Software Defined Networking (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX) Software Defined WAN (Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud) Cisco DNA (Automation/Assurance and SDA) Cloud Network Architecture for Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, etc) Cloud Security for Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, etc) Working knowledge in Security architecture and risk management Working knowledge in Cybersecurity and related architecture Core Requirements: Overall 10 years’ experience with proven history in consulting and/or professional services industry with a particular strong background encompassing network and security. Assessment, discovery, and delivery experience is essential. Strong English communication skills – both written and spoken (including technical writing for proposals, documentation or solution summaries) are essential! Focus on delivery with strong client-facing abilities/background. Education and Certifications required: BSc in Computer Science or related discipline, or 3 year Technologist Diploma or equivalent Combination of certifications with the following technologies would be an asset: Cisco: CCNA/DA, CCNP/DP Cisco CCIE Data Centre or Security considered an Asset CISSP
