Role: IT Admin Duration: 3-month contract to potential FT resource Location: Toronto, onsite 5 days a week (downtown, near University College of UofT), some on-call in emergency situations Hrs/week: 40 Interview process: 2 rounds Incorporated (or Solo-Proprietorship) needed: yes Job's Summary: Ongoing support and supporting the restaurants on any issues that come in – getting POS fully onboarded, integration of 3rd parties (ubereats, skip the dishes, etc) Requirements: 2-3 years (minimum) or relevant experience in IT Networking and Administration Strong IT administration and customer support experience Some basic to intermediate Python or scripting skills (even if from academic or self-learning) – nice to have – they have a developer that works internally Availability for on-call and off-hour support as needed When not actively supporting, they’d work on project-based tasks Bonus if they’ve had exposure to retail or restaurant POS support/administration Responsibilities: Admin work, user access management, making sure everything is set up and walking them through training of new onboarding When/if required, assist IT manager with day-to-day projects – data input, testing for new POS system they are onboarding Loyalty platform – testing Restaurant experience – understanding the industry – previous server experience Network, network admin experience – wi-fi or printer isn’t working – reset the IP (not complicated)
