Azure DevOps Engineer Contract I'm supporting one of my clients within the Financial Services sector who are looking to secure a talented Contract DevOps Engineer to support a major cloud migration.This is a high-impact role within a collaborative digital team, offering the opportunity to shape infrastructure and automation practices at scale. Key Information Role: Contract DevOps Engineer Location: West Yorkshire Rate: TBC Depending on IR35 Determination. Likely to be OUTSIDE IR35 - £500-£525 Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension) Start Date: ASAP Working Arrangements: Hybrid with a minimum of 1 day per week on site(non negotiable) Role Summary Supporting a key Cloud Migration using Terraform and Azure. Support the migration of CI/CD pipelines from on-prem to Azure DevOps. Introduce automation, improve tooling, and advise on best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure. Provide consultative input to influence architectural decisions and DevOps strategy. Skills & Experience Needed ✅ Strong hands-on experience with Azure and Azure DevOps, minimum of 5 years. ✅ Proven expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ✅ Experience with cloud migrations and environment rebuilds ✅ Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevSecOps practices ✅ Ability to work in regulated environments (Financial Services experience desirable) ✅ Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset Please only apply if you meet all the essential requirements outlined above and are able to commit to the hybrid working arrangements, including occasional on-site presence in West Yorkshire as required.
