The role demands a proven track record in developing and managing IT budgets, as well as experience in areas such as project management, change management, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emerging technologies and their application in higher education, and be adept at building and leading high-performing teams. Key skills include proficiency in risk management, regulatory compliance, and the ability to forge productive partnerships across various institutional domains. The AVP of IT will also be responsible for financial stewardship, vendor optimization, and ensuring the security and compliance of IT operations.
