About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Ambulatory IT to lead the future of healthcare IT with a focus on Epic ambulatory projects. The successful candidate will be a project management professional with a passion for healthcare innovation, responsible for driving high-impact projects, leading cross-functional teams, and optimizing workflows to ensure top-tier patient care through cutting-edge technology. Key responsibilities include managing the scope, schedule, and quality of ambulatory application projects, advising and coaching team members, and acting as a liaison between organizational leadership, Epic representatives, and end users. The role also involves issue resolution, training and development, and a commitment to service excellence. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, proven experience in managing complex IT or healthcare projects, and proficiency in PC-based tools. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to travel for formal Epic training and certification. A Master's degree, PMI certification, and Epic ambulatory applications certification are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare IT, particularly with Epic systems, and a track record of success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
