About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Project Management Office (PMO) to lead the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of a technology transformation roadmap. This roadmap is centered around the implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and other enabling projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a structured project management framework, engaging with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, and overseeing vendor selection and performance. Additionally, the role involves proactive risk management, resource and budget allocation, and ensuring that the ERP system aligns with organizational objectives to enhance operational efficiency. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 7 years' of project management experience, including a minimum of 3 years' in a supervisory or leadership role. Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiations, and budget oversight is essential. The ideal candidate will also have a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification, experience in higher education or similar sectors, and a track record of successful ERP implementations. The role requires a strong understanding of ERP systems, integration strategies across multiple enterprise systems, and experience with Agile and iterative implementation methodologies. The Executive Director will also be involved in change management, user training, and post-implementation support, and must be adept at providing strategic leadership, training, and guidance to staff.
