Network Security Engineer

Dartford (Hybrid - 2 days on-site per month) Full-time | Permanent A leading logistics organisation is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their growing team. If you're passionate about networking and cybersecurity and thrive in fast-paced environments, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with modern technologies and make a real impact. * We're looking for a Network Security Engineer who has proven experience in deploying, administering, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless solutions, and firewalls. In addition to this, you will be managing Cisco-based network security (firewalls, VPNs, NAC) for peak reliability and performance, in addition to the other responsibilities below! Key Responsibilities: * Deploy and maintain network security infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS). * Manage Cisco-based systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and NAC. * Monitor traffic, troubleshoot issues, and enhance performance. * Implement secure remote access and VPN solutions. * Oversee PKI management and recommend security improvements. * Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, and third-party vendors. What You'll Bring: * Proven experience with network infrastructure and security protocols. * Familiarity with IDS/IPS, cloud security, and encryption standards. * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. * Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network are desirable.
