Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with expertise in healthcare claims processing, specifically within Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or similar large-scale claims systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data in all functional areas of MMIS and experience in supporting ongoing Releases, Enhancements, and Production defect fixes. This position requires strong experience in Data Conversion, mapping rules, validation, ETL design, and programming logic. Teradata experience is required, with a preference for experience in Mainframes and DB2. Requirement/Must Have: In-depth knowledge of healthcare claims processing, particularly within MMIS or similar large-scale claims systems. Strong experience in Data Conversion, mapping rules, validation, ETL design, and programming logic. Proficiency in Teradata queries. Experience with Mainframes, DB2 is preferred. Ability to independently work with multiple technical and user groups with minimal supervision. Significant experience in managing and coordinating UAT, SIT, and E2E testing. Ability to develop test cases, test data, and verify software changes. Strong problem-solving skills to address issues escalated during testing. Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to report progress and results to various stakeholders. Experience: Experience in coordinating and performing System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End Testing (E2E). Experience in testing and converting data from other systems into Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) Modules and COTS products. Significant experience in defect triage calls with multiple vendors and tracking defects to closure in a timely fashion. Proven track record in maintaining historical UAT testing information. Previous experience working in a multi-vendor, multi-team environment with a focus on Medicaid systems is highly preferred. Mainframe testing experience is a plus. Responsibilities or Duties: Support ongoing Releases, Enhancements, and Production defect fixes related to MMIS and MES modules. Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End2End (E2E) testing for MMIS and MES modules, including testing of configured Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) applications. Manage defect triage calls and ensure defects are tracked and resolved in a timely manner. Develop test cases, test data, and verify software changes. Act as a liaison between developers and business users to ensure software changes align with requirements. Communicate and report testing results to stakeholders, including Test Summary and Execution metrics. Track and maintain historical UAT testing information. Escalate and track UAT defects through the resolution process. Should Have: Experience with Teradata queries is a must. Knowledge of Mainframe systems and testing is highly preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing systems and integration with other systems. Experience with defect triage calls in a multi-vendor environment. Skills: Expertise in MMIS or similar large-scale claims systems. Proficiency in Teradata and SQL. Experience in data conversion, mapping rules, ETL design, and programming logic. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Qualification or Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in a Systems Analyst role, particularly in healthcare claims processing or related fields.
