Job Title: DevOps Test Lead Location: Cheltenham Clearance Required: BPSS / DV (Ideally with PU) - Must have held Cobalt clearance for more than 12 months Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Test Lead to support the testing and release of a client system. In this role, you will work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality software releases. You will be responsible for maintaining and running the project's CI system, developing new tests, and implementing best DevOps practices to streamline the testing process. Key Responsibilities: Lead testing efforts for software developed within the project. Support formal software releases through rigorous testing and validation. Maintain and optimize the Continuous Integration (CI) system. Develop new automated tests to validate new functionalities. Collaborate with the development team to improve testing processes and deployment strategies. Required Skills & Experience: Experience with Agile delivery and DevOps practices . Strong Linux and server administration skills. Proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management. Hands-on experience in software testing , preferably using: Cypress , Cucumber (test automation frameworks). JavaScript and Java (desirable). Security Clearance: BPSS / DV clearance required. Cobalt clearance must have been held for 12 months .
