This organization is responsible for developing and supporting our real-time embedded software for numerous processing platforms used in military and commercial avionics products and cockpit display systems including our safety-critical, civil certifiable, multicore processing environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Plan and lead work toward the design, development, and verification of real-time embedded software. Review duration and effort estimates for software development and verification tasks. Present project status including schedule and budget performance Assess, review and present project risks and opportunities. Mentor software developers in technical and process-related areas. The selected candidate will also possess: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience Demonstrated ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options, and develop solutions Energetic and proactive self-starter that builds sound, collaborative relationships Proficiency with modern software development best practices and configuration management tools U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
