Job Description Designfusion is hiring a FEA Applications Specialist for its Toronto office. We are seeking a highly motivated FEA (Focused around Simcenter, Altair or STAR-CCM) Application Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our customers using FEA software solutions. In addition, the FEA Application Engineer will perform analysis work for customers, design customized solutions and workflows to meet customer requirements, and provide technical consulting services. Qualifications Education: Post-secondary Engineering Degree or Diploma Duties and Required Skills • Provide technical support to customers for FEA software solutions, including pre-sales and post-sales support. • Conduct software demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions to customers. • Work closely with customers to understand their simulation requirements and provide guidance on the use of FEA software solutions. • Perform analysis work for customers using FEA software solutions. • Develop customized solutions and workflows to meet customer requirements. • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies. • 3 years of experience in engineering simulation, preferably with FEA software solutions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong knowledge of CAD software such as Siemens NX is essential. • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Fortran is a plus. • Willingness to travel as needed to support customers.
