Ecommerce Website Developer - Python - Start-Up London | Hybrid (2–3 days in office) Freelance 6-Month Contract (Initial) circa £550 a day We're working with a fast-scaling Omni-Channel Ecommerce start-up that’s disrupting the retail space—and they’re on the hunt for a Web Developer to help them build and scale their core platform. If you’re passionate about clean, efficient code and love working in a high-growth, agile environment, this one’s for you. You’ll play a key role in architecting and delivering scalable backend solutions across multiple sales and engagement channels. Working closely with product, data, and DevOps teams, you’ll help shape a modern, cloud-native infrastructure built on AWS . Tech Stack & Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy backend services using Python (Preferred) Work with AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, etc.) to build scalable, serverless solutions Integrate APIs across multiple platforms (web, mobile, retail systems) Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment Ensure performance, scalability, and security best practices Solve problems quickly and efficiently while maintaining clean code and documentation What We’re Looking For Proven experience developing Python-based applications in a commercial setting Strong background working with AWS services Experience in Omni-Channel Ecommerce or retail platforms Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows A self-starter mentality – comfortable in a start-up, fast-paced environment If you're looking for a high-impact contract where you can hit the ground running and build something meaningful— we want to hear from you .
