Modelling and Performance Team Lead - Seeker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Modelling Engineer and People Manager to lead an RF Seeker Modelling and Performance team. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the RF Seeker Modelling and Performance team • Drive the development and delivery of system capabilities • Model in MATLAB and Simulink using model-based design techniques • Manage a Complex Seeker model, simulating the RF environment, Seeker hardware, and processor algorithms • Manage Task Packages and development of algorithms within the model • Interact with a wide network of customers across multiple domains • Produce and verify auto-code for software algorithms from the model • Manage system studies and performance analysis • Own Processes and model deliverables • Facilitate team development in modelling practices and algorithm design • Assess system performance through the models against requirements The successful candidate will have: • Significant experience in modelling and coding (MATLAB and Simulink) • Experience in Verification & Validation, configuration control, and model release processes • Proven team leadership and people management experience • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Experience with data analysis and technical report writing Desirable experience: • Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing • Experience in algorithm development This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not inclusive of: • Company Bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance) • Pension: Maximum total contribution of up to 14% (employer and employee) • Overtime: Opportunity for paid overtime • Flexi Leave: Up to 15 additional days • Flexible working arrangements • Enhanced parental leave (up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave) • Subsidised site facilities and free parking • Excellent career progression and training / career development opportunities If this role looks like your next challenge, please contact Keelan ASAP or apply via this advert!
