Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Infrastructure team, tasked with developing, maintaining, and supporting a global IT environment spanning 100 locations and 9,000 employees. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, security, and performance while driving the migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Support & Maintenance: Oversee and optimize global cloud and on-premises IT systems, ensuring uptime and security. Cloud Migration & Development: Manage and implement the transition to a fully cloud-integrated infrastructure, leveraging M365, Azure AD, and other cloud technologies. Project Implementation: Lead infrastructure initiatives to align IT capabilities with business requirements. Technical Troubleshooting: Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support, resolving complex IT incidents and mentoring support teams. Security & Compliance: Safeguard data integrity and IT systems while enforcing security best practices and regulatory compliance. Supplier & Vendor Management: Coordinate with external service providers to maintain and enhance infrastructure performance. Documentation & Process Improvement: Develop and refine IT standards, procedures, and system documentation for streamlined operations. Collaboration & Strategy: Work alongside the global IT team to implement and support enterprise-wide IT initiatives. Change Management & Upgrades: Plan and execute infrastructure enhancements with minimal disruption to business operations. Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensure robust backup solutions and regularly test data restoration capabilities. Essential Skills & Experience Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem , including Azure AD, Endpoint Manager, Defender ATP, OneDrive, and cloud automation. Advanced proficiency in Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019) , Active Directory, and Group Policy administration. Hands-on experience with VMware vCenter & ESXi and virtualization technologies. Solid knowledge of storage solutions , including SAN/NAS and enterprise backup systems. Minimum three years of hands-on infrastructure management experience. Desirable Skills Familiarity with NetApp storage and Azure cloud automation. Networking expertise, particularly LAN/WAN, Aruba wireless networks, and HPE servers/switches . Experience with Druva Cloud, Veritas Backup Exec, Veeam Backup solutions. Working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Management tools such as Intune & Defender. Experience managing Active Directory and Group Policy in a corporate environment. Proficiency in security technologies , including firewalls, SSL-VPN, and multi-factor authentication.
