Role: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant Location: The role is home / flexible-based working Employment Type: Permanent Overview: We are seeking a mid-level EHS Consultant to support a growing portfolio of corporate clients operating from multiple sites across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, proactive and thrives in a consultancy setting. You'll be delivering practical environmental, health, and safety solutions with a focus on quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Deliver effective consulting projects through to successful conclusion Develop existing products and processes to ensure continual improvement in the client-facing performance Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Partner with customers to understand their HSE needs and objectives Effectively communicate the value proposition through involvement in proposals and presentations Requirements: 4 years of successful operation within the HSE sector, consistently meeting client expectations Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive level Proven ability to drive clients towards improved EHS performance Proven people management skills Excellent project management skills Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Full UK driving licence Qualifications: 4 years of working in EHS services or Environmental H&S consultancy environment Graduate IOSH membership status with up-to-date CPD Practitioner IEMA membership status EHS auditor qualifications – ideally lead auditor status Experience in writing and implementation of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 in multi-site businesses Experience in delivering risk assessments and compliance auditing across multi-site businesses Excellent project management skills, with particular emphasis on effectively identifying client needs and articulating them successfully within project plans Experience working within a multi-stakeholder environment where competing needs must be managed effectively in order to deliver results Experience working in an environment where commercial performance targets are part of the workload Ability to effectively and concisely communicate regulatory and best practice requirements to personnel at all levels within client companies What’s on Offer: The role is home / flexible-based working The role is available as a full-time role only Regular UK and Ireland travel is required Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience Travel and expenses costs Pension contribution Death in service benefit A flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays and private health care Regular training and career development Access to mental health support and professional financial advice.
