Juniper Consultant (SRX Specialist) Location: London, UK (On-site) Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35) Start Date: ASAP Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Juniper Consultant with deep expertise in Juniper SRX platforms to join a high-impact project in London. The ideal candidate will be confident working at a JNCIP/E level, with strong hands-on experience in CLI-based configuration and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: * Design, configure, and troubleshoot Juniper SRX firewalls in complex enterprise environments. * Implement security policies, NAT, VPNs, and routing protocols using CLI. * Collaborate with network architects and security teams to ensure robust and secure network infrastructure. * Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams. * Participate in change management and incident resolution processes. * Required Skills & Experience: * Proven experience with Juniper SRX firewalls in enterprise environments. * JNCIP or JNCIE certification (Security or Enterprise) is required. * Strong command-line interface (CLI) configuration skills. * In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs (IPSec, SSL), and firewall policies. * Experience working in environments governed by IR35 regulations. * Excellent communication and documentation skills. Desirable: * Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting for Junos). * Familiarity with other Juniper platforms (MX, EX). * Previous consultancy or client-facing experience
