Our client a trusted provider of network and communication technology solutions, we're looking for a QA Engineer (UX Focused) to elevate the quality of our GUI application that interfaces with the Cloud Platform. What You’ll Be Doing Test Planning: Design structured, detailed test plans and cases based on technical specs and UX requirements. Quality Execution: Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure seamless usability and system integrity. Defect Tracking: Proactively log and manage bugs in Jira, working closely with developers to ensure timely fixes. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to boost testing speed and reliability. Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with UX designers, engineers, and product managers to clarify requirements and embed quality into every step of development. Compliance & Standards: Ensure the product meets all accessibility, usability, and security standards, following best practices and company policies. Reporting: Deliver insightful QA reports and quality metrics to stakeholders for informed decision-making. You’ll Succeed If You Have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Solid experience in software QA, especially testing GUI apps Hands-on knowledge of QA tools, methodologies, and best practices Skills in both manual testing and test automation Experience with test scripting in JavaScript, Python, or similar Familiarity with Jira or similar bug tracking tools Experience in CI/CD environments, including Docker and Helm deployments Agile/Scrum team experience A user-first mindset and keen attention to detail (Bonus) Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA, etc.)
