Network Architect - Cisco - MUST HAVE A VALID DV We are currently seeking an experienced Network Architect to join a high-profile digital transformation programme for a major government client. This role is critical to delivering a technical refresh across key networking infrastructure, including firewalls and secure communications components. Key Responsibilities: * Support a large-scale tech refresh project, primarily involving Cisco firewalls and Enterprise Catapans * Update existing design documentation to reflect the integration of new networking devices * Collaborate with internal teams to deliver implementation and migration activities * Ensure smooth handover of refreshed components to the BAU (Business as Usual) support teams * Provide regular progress updates and technical input to the project manager * Contribute to planning and adapting project deliverables in response to any scope or technical changes Required Skills and Experience: * Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, particularly around firewalls * Proven experience in network design, architecture and documentation * Previous involvement in network refresh or infrastructure upgrade projects * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes If you're a technically strong and delivery-focused network architect with a proactive mindset, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a long-term programme supporting national infrastructure
