Programme Manager – Banking / Microservices / Migration Location: Hybrid (occasional travel to London) Salary: Up to £140,000 Overview: We're looking for a hands-on Programme Manager with strong experience in banking, microservices architecture, and complex technology migrations. You’ll lead strategic, high-value initiatives, manage large budgets, and drive delivery across cross-functional teams. Key Requirements: Financial services/banking experience is essential. Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and middleware migrations . Proven track record in managing complex migrations – sleeves-up and delivery focused. Experience with multi-£M budgets , delivery estimation , and executive reporting . Comfortable operating at CXO, architecture, and engineering levels . Background in consulting or SI delivery with solid SOW/commercial management . Strong leadership of cross-functional teams (~30 people). Programme recovery experience is a must. Responsibilities: Lead and recover large-scale tech programmes in banking. Manage scope, schedule, risks, and budgets. Collaborate across engineering, architecture, and executive teams. Deliver programme updates to senior stakeholders. Ensure alignment to strategy while maintaining delivery focus.
