Title: European Financial Controller – German Speaking Location: London -1 day a week in the London office Salary: c.£100k 20% bonus Ref: NB13546 SaaS We are currently partnered with a £350m turnover, Private Equity backed SaaS business who are on an exciting high-growth buy-and-build strategy. The business is looking for a European Financial Controller to join their business. The successful candidate will be fluent in German and have previous SaaS experience in a PE backed company. Reporting directly to a dynamic, high-energy Group FC, this role is a unique chance for a strong number two to step into a fast-paced environment, shaping and professionalising the finance function as the business transitions from start-up to scale-up. The Role: The Financial Controller will take ownership of reporting, controls, and accounting processes: Overseeing financial reporting, accounting policies, and controls, ensuring compliance with Private Equity standards. Managing an outsourced finance function, with plans to bring it in-house and build a best-in-class finance team. Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business, providing commercial insights. Leading systems improvements and driving process automation to enhance efficiency and scalability. The Requirements : ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. PE experience in a SaaS business. German speaking. Strong technical finance expertise, coupled with a commercial mindset and ability to partner with stakeholders. Hands-on experience with finance systems and automation is an advantage.
