Interim Fractional Finance Consultant (Investment Banking Background) Remote/London Up to £650pd outside of IR35 2/3 days a week Are you an ex-investment banker looking for more flexibility without sacrificing impact? We’re hiring a Fractional Finance Consultant to join our network of elite finance professionals supporting VC-backed tech startups (Series A–C). Our clients rely on us as their strategic finance arm—bringing structure, insight, and investor-ready thinking to high-growth companies that aren’t quite ready for a full-time CFO. What You'll Do: Act as an interim/fractional finance lead. Build or upgrade finance functions (systems, models, dashboards, processes). Own financial modelling (forecasting, scenario planning, fundraising support) Analyse unit economics, burn runway, and strategic metrics Help shape fundraising narratives and support investor conversations Collaborate with founders and C-suite to drive insight-based decision making What You Bring: 2–4 years in Investment Banking (top-tier boutique or bulge bracket) Strong financial modelling valuation chops (DCF, comps, scenario analysis, etc.) Comfort working directly with founders and investors—you're strategic and clear Bonus: Experience with SaaS/tech models, FP&A, VC, PE, or fractional roles Ability to work independently in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
