Solutions Architect Remote-Friendly (offices available in London) EP004 Job Summary Finatal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Architect with strong communications skills, software development experience, and testing experience. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments and has a proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships, balancing technical depth, and delivering successful solutions across diverse domains. Key Responsibilities · Develop robust, scalable, and adaptable solution architectures to meet client requirements. · Oversee technical aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, architecture, and security practices. · Provide guidance to development and testing teams, assisting in the solution lifecycle from ideation through to deployment. · Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and providing regular updates on project progress. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, project managers, and senior leadership, to ensure effective communication and alignment. · Navigate and balance priorities in a changing environment, helping stakeholders understand trade-offs and setting realistic expectations. · Lead discussions and workshops to clarify objectives, gather requirements, and communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible way. · Identify and implement improvements to existing systems, processes, and architectures to optimize project outcomes. · Proactively address challenges in solution design, troubleshooting issues, and implementing course corrections as necessary. Experience · A proven background as a Solution Architect and worked in a variety of technology focused roles. · Broad technical background with the ability to understand and work with multiple components of a solution delivery organization. · Strong communication skills: capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences. · Stakeholder management expertise: experienced in building and maintaining effective relationships, setting clear expectations, and delivering consistent, high-quality results. · Problem-solving mindset: demonstrated ability to approach challenges with a structured, solution-focused approach. · Self-starter mentality: able to work autonomously and manage time effectively, especially in a remote environment. · Adaptability and resilience in dynamic, changing environments with competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications and Experience · Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, serverless). · Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
