Senior Application Engineer

Application Engineer – Life Sciences Remote, UK-wide We're supporting a global leader in industrial automation as they look to hire an experienced Application Engineer to support their growing customer base across the UK. This is a national, remote-based role with a focus on the life sciences sector—so we're looking for someone who really knows their way around automation in that world. You’ll be the UK go-to expert for technical support, working closely with the sales team and customers to design, adapt, and implement automation solutions across a wide range of technologies: robotics, drives, motion control, sensors, and software. If you’re someone who loves solving problems and enjoys getting stuck into real-world applications, this could be a great fit. What you’ll be doing: Partnering with the sales team to support customers and shape automation solutions Running demos, supporting feasibility studies, and advising on best-fit technologies Designing and developing automation systems tailored to customer needs Providing on-site support, training, and troubleshooting when required Acting as the main technical point of contact for UK life sciences clients Staying up to date on the latest industry tech and developments What we’re looking for: Solid automation engineering experience—ideally 3 years Strong background in the life sciences or pharma sectors Confident with PLC programming and automation systems Great communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Based in the UK with the right to work—unfortunately, we can’t sponsor Happy to travel nationally as needed Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely Sound like you?
