Freshwater recruitment are working with an International legal firm based in Central London to find a Change Project Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a pivotal role supporting a major transformation initiative across the firm, focused on embedding structured change, streamlining legal processes, and ensuring smooth adoption of new ways of working. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of structured change management strategies and plans Engage and influence stakeholders across all levels to build support and drive change Conduct impact assessments across people, process, and technology Support compelling communication and engagement initiatives Collaborate on process mapping (As-Is / To-Be), identifying and closing efficiency gaps Implement governance structures to track progress and manage risks Anticipate and mitigate resistance through proactive planning Deliver key milestones on time and to a high standard Facilitate workshops and feedback loops to inform continuous improvement Experience needed A mixed background in Project Management and hands on Change experience Extensive experience in structured change methodologies (e.g. ADKAR, Prosci) Strong project delivery experience, particularly in transformation settings Outstanding written and verbal communication skills The ability to navigate partnership and matrix environments effectively Advanced skills in MS Office, Excel, process mapping and data visualisation tools Commercial awareness and an understanding of the legal sector (a plus) This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven change professional who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about delivering impactful, sustainable change—especially within legal or professional services settings.
