Recommended skills and capabilities: Experience with performing vulnerability scans and assessments as well as computer forensics Familiarity with SOA governance and policy management best practices Information Security best practices and common processes Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux vulnerabilities and exploits Understanding of firewalls, including design, installation, configuration, and operation Knowledge of network protocols, data flows, and vulnerabilities within a TCP/IP environment Ability to perform network protocol analysis and raw data capture Knowledge of LDAP Familiarity with OWASP, ISO 27001/2, PCI-DSS standards Self-motivated, detail-oriented, ethical, and with integrity Commitment to excellence and timely work completion Team player, respectful, and confidentiality-conscious Sound judgment and collaborative mindset Must have: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with 2-5 years of experience Minimum of 10 years of information systems security or related auditing experience Ability to communicate security matters effectively to various audiences Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and proactively Innovative, responsive, and urgent in action Willing to share knowledge and work outside regular hours as needed Experience with firewalls, routers, load balancers, and DMZs Knowledge of security standards, practices, and platforms (Windows/Unix/Linux) Experience with F5 ASM, Data Loss Prevention, DNS, NTP, Citrix, TACACS, IDS, IPS, and SIEMS Knowledge of protocols like TCP, UDP, SSL, FTP, SMTP, NetBIOS, DHCP At least one major platform certification (IBM, Microsoft, Cisco) Ability to interpret security data and identify compliance issues Quick understanding of security systems and requirements Thanks!
