Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist – Windfarm Project Location: Scottish Highlands Start Date: 6th May Duration: 12 weeks Project: Windfarm – Ground Investigation (GI) & Geotechnical Engineering (GE) Data Collection Interview slots: Early next week My client is looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist for a 12-week windfarm project in the Highlands. The role requires someone with a strong background in soil and rock logging, who is willing to stay near site and work closely with both the client and site agent. Key Responsibilities: Onsite Soil and Rock Logging Supporting Site Agent and acting as a Client Representative Accurate and timely completion of documentation and logs Adapting quickly to tablet-based logging systems for digital evidence recording Building good relationships and communicating effectively with all onsite personnel Requirements: Proven experience in Soil & Rock Logging High level of professionalism and ability to represent the client Strong people skills Detail-oriented with solid paperwork/documentation skills Adaptable to onsite technology and changes in workflow Working Pattern: Option 1: 10-day on / 3-day off rotation Option 2: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week Looking for someone who is reliable, ready to be onsite, and committed to delivering quality data and collaboration.
