We are looking for a fourth founding engineer to build new products from 0 to 1. Filling this role with the right person will be absolutely critical to the success of our company; as such, you can expect significant equity (2-3%) and product ownership. This is a Full-Time, In-person role in NYC. About Gander Gander builds flight management software for the private aviation industry (private jets, drones, helicopters). Our tools and agents help operators track, manage, and monetize their fleets. We are currently in stealth, but have raised $1.5 from great investors including YC & General Catalyst. Technologies: We use Next.js, React, Vercel, and Supabase extensively. Job Responsibilities: Create great software. Take product requirements and turn them into beautiful, reliable, and high quality software, multiplying your impact with code-gen tools. Lead product development. Lead end-to-end technical execution and have full ownership of the software development lifecycle. Design system architecture. Design and implement the architecture and tech stack that will serve as the backbone for our platform. Balance scalability, speed, and reliability. Key Requirements: End-to-end. Has experience building all parts of software, from front-end to back-end to cloud deployment. Adaptable. Can quickly and iteratively respond to the needs of customers, turning product changes around on tight timelines. AI-first. Has a strong understanding of how to implement AI systems into SaaS products and is eager to build AI agents.
