Developer Advocate / Tech Evangelist

Job Title: Developer Advocate / Tech Evangelist Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) Role Overview: As a Developer Advocate at GMI Cloud, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our engineering team and the developer community. Your role will involve creating engaging content, gathering feedback, and fostering a vibrant community around our AI cloud services. Key Responsibilities • Create compelling, technical content (blogs, videos, tutorials) to showcase what developers can build using GMI Cloud • Engage with AI/ML developers in Discord, GitHub, Twitter/X, and other community channels • Run workshops, livestreams, and events to educate and inspire our users • Partner with internal product and engineering teams to relay developer needs and feedback • Support key AI-native startups in building on GMI Cloud, and spotlight their success stories • Contribute to developer tooling, open-source repos, and example projects. Qualification • Background in software development, machine learning, or DevRel (2 years preferred) • Comfort writing code in Python or other scripting languages commonly used in AI workflows • Experience working with model training, inference, or GPU/cloud environments • Excellent communication and storytelling skills • A strong presence in the developer or ML community is a plus • Experience with open-source contributions or technical content creation is a bonus
