Job Title: Shopify Developer Location: North London The Business An innovative UK based bakery that has dominated the market in the South of England for many years through it’s exceptional digital service and continues to grow through it’s ecommerce approach. The Job Our client is currently seeking a talented front end developer with experience working with Shopify to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience customising Shopify themes and building custom Shopify apps. You will join a dedicated Shopify Team and report directly into the Digital Product Manager. Responsibilities: Develop and implement custom Shopify themes Build custom Shopify apps to enhance the functionality of our online store Work closely with our design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces Optimise websites for maximum speed and scalability Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs This role is based 4 days in the office and Fridays are work from home. Candidate Requirements 5 years’ experience as a front-end developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles Experience with Liquid templating language and Shopify APIs Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools Excellent communication and teamwork skills Comfortable supporting more junior candidates in the team Benefits Cycle to work scheme.
